Oh, yeah! My dad has an iPod, and after I finish this comment, I'm gonna beg him to download some Foster's onto it! w00t! ^_^
Oh, yeah, Craig? I have a question: I think it would be funny if in one of your cartoons, you did something like a fourth wall gag. Is it OK if you do it in a future episode? ;)
Later, T-bird (who likes Cheese and chocolate milk =P)
Wow! That's really neat! Well, too bad that I don't have an iPod that plays videos... Hey, can you guys maybe get a DVD collection of the first season! That would be AWESOME!
Out of curiosity, does anyone know why Cartoon Network doesn't release any of their day/prime time animation in DVD season sets? I could think of a number of shows that I wouldn't mind putting some money down for, but it seems like the only shows they ever release are Adult Swim shows.
Ian, I'm not certain as to why they haven't done many DVD releases, however, I believe many CN shows will see DVD releases by early next year, including Foster's. No specifics, yet, though.
Great to see the episodes for sale on iTunes. Now, I want to see the soundtrack for sale on iTunes, so I can listen to the great intro song over and over!
Oh, man -- unless I have the date wrong, this day was the 2nd anniversary for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (starting from the day the series premiered in the USA -- August 13, 2004). If so, Happy 2nd Anniversary, Foster's!
itunes suck, and I can't believe you're starting your selling point from there! (From a business point of view, I can see why... sort of.) Regardless, like everyone else said, you guys should come out with a SEASON AND/OR BOX SET DVD, and not just A DVD (there have been articles around the next stating that you're releasing a "best of" DVD.) TSK TSK.
Congrats on your business endeavors, and [CR]apple's iTunes suck!
Nothing personal to the previous poster, but that was a very unpleasant, rude response. I don't believe Craig or any of the Foster's crew have any control of putting episodes on iTunes (correct me if I'm wrong, Craig). The same can be said for DVD releases. If he did, I'm sure we would've already seen episodes of the Powerpuff Girls on there, as well. In the future, I'd advise you to be careful with what you say -- is that okay?
hi Craig I just wanted to let you know I think it is totally awesome that you have a blog and allow people like me sort of "communicate" with you!! I don't mean to bother you but i just posted on Laurens blog, that I am SO happy to hear that the inspiration for Fosters were your 2 adopted dogs! it always makes my day when people adopt dogs/cat rather than buying them from a breeder or stupid pet store!!
Anyway keep up the awesome work! i hope the seasons come out on DVD so i can buy em all! marjie
I just thought I'd mention, that I've added Cheese's misinterpretation of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Where he sings "Sprinkle sprinkle little bar, how I wonder is a cat" as my new BBS signature.
One Radical Dude, your reply didn't go overboard. However, it did sound sort of Wilt-ish. ;)
This has to be the funniest, most attractive and flat out wonderful show you guys have come up with yet. I hope you guys take this as far as you can and don't looke back. Is there by any chance a feature in the works?
Can you try to get the Cartoon Network ads (bloo singing Dancingaround Dancingaround, cheese, the forest gump-eduardo Potatos) added to the dvd? They are great and would be a fun extra feature.
