Dave and Tim Done it

Here is the production painting of Bloo's Fantasy Battle with Uncle Pockets from the episode "Bloo Done It." It was drawn by our supervising BG designer Dave Dunnet and painted by one of our color stylists Tim Barnes. Amazing job guys!

I love this picture. It's awesome! When I first saw it, I was amazed at how hard the animation team must work.

Fosters is my favourite cartoon on CN. Keep up the good work!

Ahhh finally a blog in which to indulge in one of my favorite cartoons on T.V right now. I just love looking at concept art for cartoons and stuff so I should be right at home here.
Anyway, this is pretty cool work you and your team are showing off here. I loved the scene where Bloo said that faced off against Uncle Pockets.
I can tell by the marks at edge of the page that this was painted by hand. I'm thinking maybe chalk pastels of some sort? Just a guess.

Anyway keep up the good work everyone, this is a great show you have going here.

That was a great piece of art you've got there. Great job, Dave and Tim. That was one of the the best scenes visually from that episode.

I love that picture. And if you are the REAL Craig McCracken, I want to say that I am your biggest fan! I think you should make a crossover episode with The Powerpuff Girls. Or at least a cameo apperance.....

I was really curious about production drawings for this show. I'm an animation student learning the traditional methods, so I honestly don't know what goes into these types of cartoons! This is a really great piece--if you don't mind me asking how many production drawings and paintings goes into the average episode?

Hey, the tiger has 7 legs. I just noticed that after staring at the picture on my desktop for weeks xD

I always figured the 7-legged Tiger-looking critter is a shout-out to the old pulpy fantasy novels like _John Carter of Mars_ (where, for whatever reason, many characters sported an unusual number of limbs, heads, and so on). Anyway, this painting encapsulates everything that is good about "Foster's Home".

That pic is so awesome! I lvoe that episode. I looked up that picture (and found the blog) just so my sister and I could use it for our desktops! :D

I also used to have the pic of Frankie chasing Cheese as my desktop wallpaper. (I'd still have it if my mom didn't keep changing it back to Twilight Princess)
